Petrosa Townhome Patio Lifestyle stills Overland - I got the civil cad and an early geolocated terrain with streets, sidewalks and fence lines. I'm waiting on Nicole Giunta for a list of approved models to show in the video. I emailed her about it a week ago, but she was out on vacation at the time. Mark's Place Microsite: Torri asked if I could somehow render the houses on this site all together at once so the user could see the whole street one house at a time. I knew that it was possible to do that, but that it would be a gargantuan file, couldn't be done with AI and also would be shot from a mile away through a telescopic lens. So I thought I might try doing something I've never done before - and that was to seamlessly blend hero stills and AI video together with a software wrapper that would stitch it all together to create a kind of coverflow experience for the user. As I collaborated with Claude code on the software portion I realized it was using some genuinely productive processes that I could use on all further AI videos - like Overland - where I needed to stitch a lot of little AI videos into one seamless video. Initially I thought of just using Premiere Pro to do this, but in actual practice there were a lot of little issues with making the actual stitching at the seams. I could have done it by hand but the new app will do it better and faster. And it won't need Claude to do it - it's a stand alone application with all the technical tricks distilled into it. This experience makes me wonder how much of what we think we need AI for - could be distilled out of our conversations into purpose built applications that don't need an AI budget, and will work just as well.
